People who have had mild or serious COVID-19 infections have a significantly higher chance of experiencing mental health problems, according to new research from the School of Medicine and the Veterans Affairs St. Louis Health Care System.

Campus grieves death of student Orli Sheffey

Hundreds of students, staff and faculty gathered for a candlelight vigil Feb. 14 to mourn the death of Orli Sheffey, a sophomore in Arts & Sciences. Sheffey, 19, died by suicide Friday, Feb. 11. A talented student, tenacious journalist and caring friend, Sheffey changed the lives of many in the WashU community.
