PAD debuts ‘She Kills Monsters’

When teenage Dungeon Master Tilly Evans dies in a car wreck, her sister must commence a mythic quest of her own. So begins “She Kills Monsters,” a bittersweet coming-of-age story filled with demon queens, secret tomes and ragtag adventurers battling for lost souls. The Performing Arts Department in Arts & Sciences will present “She Kills Monsters” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22 and 23; and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, in Edison Theatre. Performances continue the following weekend.

Alumna Leana Wen, MD, emergency physician and visiting professor at George Washington University, will be keynote speaker for the Institute for Public Health’s annual conference. The hybrid event also features the Brown School’s Jason Purnell and a panel discussion on BJC’s Community Health Improvement Strategic Plan.
