WashU Dance Collective presents ‘Supper’

WashU Dance Collective presents ‘Supper’

The Washington University Dance Collective in Arts & Sciences will premiere “Supper,” small but delightful morsels of creatively short dance offerings, in a virtual evening of dance at 8 p.m. Friday, April 30. The performance then will be available for viewing on demand through May 16. Patrons are asked to pay what they can; student tickets are free.

The Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity & Equity and the Department of African and African-American Studies in Arts & Sciences present a panel discussion on the importance of self-care for Black women experiencing racism and sexism while seeking “radical joy.”

Severine Autesserre, award-winning author and professor at Barnard College, will discuss her new book, “The Frontiers of Peace: An Insider’s Guide to Changing the World,” during this Assembly Series event. The Weidenbaum Center and the School of Law’s Public Interest Law & Policy Speaker Series are co-sponsors of the event.
