Webber to speak on growth, equity in St. Louis

Henry S. Webber, the university’s executive vice chancellor for civic affairs and strategic planning, will share what he has learned during a long-term study on the comparative performance of cities and regions on measures of growth and equity. He will explain his findings on St. Louis and provide ideas for inclusive growth. The virtual event, presented by the Weidenbaum Center, will take place at noon Wednesday, Jan. 27.

‘The Path to Racial Equity’

David Dwight, executive director of Forward Through Ferguson and a WashU alum, will present an address on racial equity activism as part of the School of Medicine’s Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Week. Dwight will also discuss the #STL2039 action plan and ways the school can support the effort.
