MFA lecture series presents artist Jamal Cyrus

Artist Jamal Cyrus has earned a national reputation for work that interrogates and commemorates political and social struggles, specifically those of the African diaspora and Black people. At 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, Cyrus will discuss his work with Stephanie Weissberg, associate curator at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation, for the Sam Fox School’s fall Public Lecture Series.

The School of Law’s Maxine Lipeles will join Richard Lazarus, professor at Harvard Law School, to discuss his book “Rule of Five: Making Climate History at the Supreme Court.” The virtual event is part of the Public Interest Law & Policy Speaker Series and the Assembly Series.
