A team of wildlife biologists and infectious disease experts, including some at the School of Medicine, propose in an article published in Science a decentralized, global wildlife biosurveillance system that could provide early warning for the next pandemic.

Med students working for Medicaid expansion

A group of students from the School of Medicine are leading an effort to help voters notarize their ballots before the Aug. 4 election. Their aim is to raise as much support as possible for Amendment 2, the Medicaid expansion initiative.
