Reminder: faculty award nominations due

Nominations are being accepted for the university’s annual Faculty Achievement Awards, known as the Arthur Holly Compton Faculty Achievement Award and the Carl and Gerty Cori Faculty Achievement Award. Nominations are due Feb. 14.

Notables

Wouter Kool in Arts & Sciences was named a “Rising Star” by the Association for Psychological Science, an honor given to outstanding psychological scientists in the early stages of their postdoctoral research careers.

The Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts received a grant from the Art Works program of the National Endowment for the Arts to support the Design Futures Student Leadership Forum, which will take place on the Danforth Campus in May.
