WUDT presents ‘Coalescence’ this weekend

Nearly 40 dancers, selected by audition, will perform six original works by faculty and visiting choreographers as part of “Coalescence,” the 2019 Washington University Dance Theatre concert, Dec. 6-8 in Edison Theatre in Mallinckrodt Center.

Great Artists Series presents Eric Owens, Jeremy Denk

Acclaimed baritone Eric Owens and renowned pianist Jeremy Denk will join forces Sunday, Dec. 8, for a recital of Franz Schubert’s beloved “Die Winterreise” as part of the university’s Great Artists Series. 560 Music Center, E. Desmond Lee Concert Hall.

Student Life’s Grace Bruton covers final games

Friday, Dec. 6

Senior Grace Bruton will work her final basketball games as photo editor of Student Life this weekend at the 19th annual McWilliams Classic. During her time here, she has captured dozens of games, four NCAA championship teams and poignant sports moments.

‘Parabola’ exhibition this weekend

The Des Lee Gallery and the Graduate Arts Organization present this exhibition, which seeks to celebrate interdisciplinary collaboration in graduate study at the university. An opening reception will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at the gallery, 1627 Washington Ave. The gallery also will be open from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.
