Alarm Will Sound brings a performance that highlights its mission to erase musical genre boundaries. The ticketed event features world premieres of music by MacArthur grant recipient Tyshawn Sorey and electronic music artist Aphex Twin, as well as a piece by composer José Martinez. 560 Music Center.

Jeffrey D. Rothstein, MD, PhD, of Johns Hopkins University, will present the university’s inaugural ALS Center lecture, “Disassembly and Reassembly of the Nuclear Pore: Disease Initiator in ALS/Dementia.” Medical Campus, Farrell Learning and Teaching Center, Holden Auditorium.

Writer and sexuality educator Ericka Hart will deliver the Masters and Johnson Annual Lecture “Radical Sex Positivity.” This annual lecture at the Brown School works to build on the legacy of sex research, therapy and education. Hillman Hall, Clark-Fox Forum.
