 Adia Harvey Wingfield, professor of sociology, has joined the leadership team in Arts & Sciences as associate dean for faculty development. In that role, Wingfield works closely with Barbara A. Schaal, dean of the faculty, in ongoing efforts to support faculty across Arts & Sciences.

Patricia Weisensee, assistant professor at the McKelvey School of Engineering, has received a two-year $110,000 grant from the American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund to study the effect of heat transfer on the development of flow fields in 2D microporous media.
