Kevin Moeller, professor of chemistry in Arts & Sciences, will receive a 2020 Arthur C. Cope Scholar Award for excellence in organic chemistry. The national award, sponsored by the Arthur C. Cope Fund, is administered by the American Chemical Society and given to only 10 recipients each year.

Cara Cipriano, MD (left), assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the School of Medicine, and Kate Gerull, a medical student, received a grant from the American Medical Association (AMA) Women Physicians Section and the AMA Foundation to conduct a multicenter study of gender factors that may influence students’ decisions to pursue careers in orthopedic surgery.
