Voter turnout among university students leaped to 41.8% in the 2018 midterm elections, more than double the 2014 midterm voting rate, according to a national study of campus voting rates by Tufts University’s Institute for Democracy & Higher Education.

Composting launches in the DUC

Dining Services has launched composting services for diners at the Danforth University Center this semester. A spot for composting food, napkins and to-go boxes is now next to the containers collecting waste destined for the landfill and for recycling in the DUC.
