Who Knew WashU?
Question: How long did the 1904 Olympics, held on the Danforth Campus, last?
Answer: A) Five months. (The 1904 games ran for a grueling 146 days, from July until late November.) Celebrate the Olympic legacy of the university and St. Louis this evening when the Olympic rings sculpture is unveiled near Francis Field.
Congrats to this week’s winner, Jeff Hood, who works at the Washington University Medical Center Redevelopment Corp. and will receive an “I Knew WashU” luggage tag! |
