Gateway Festival Orchestra performs ‘From Start to Finnish’ Sunday

The Gateway Festival Orchestra will perform music of Scandinavian composers Jean Sibelius, Launy Grøndahl and Edvard Grieg at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 15, as part of its 2018 season of free summer concerts, held in Brookings Quadrangle.

The showcase features films by local artists and takes place over two consecutive weekends, July 13 through July 22, at Brown Hall. Many programs include post-screening Q&As with filmmakers. Tickets are available online.

The events will take place today and Aug. 9 on the Medical Campus and Aug. 1 on the Danforth Campus. In addition to services that support employees and graduate students in their transportation choices, fairs will feature free bike tune-ups by Velofix.
