Annual Pow Wow, ‘Balancing Two Worlds,’ is Saturday

This year’s Pow Wow, a celebration of American Indian cultures, will be held Saturday, April 21, in the Field House. The theme of the 28th annual event is “Balancing Two Worlds: Indigenous Teachings, Traditions and Truths.” Hosted by the Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies at the Brown School, the event is free and open to the public.

The prospects for improved law enforcement-community relations in St. Louis and beyond will be explored as the “Color of Policing Symposium (COPS): Youth, Education and Activism” brings together urban scholars and city leaders for a two-day symposium today and Friday, April 20, on the Danforth Campus.
