When fading patriarch Beverly Weston goes missing, his family gathers for a reunion bordering on the apocalyptic. So begins “August: Osage County,” which the Performing Arts Department in Arts & Sciences will present in Edison Theatre Friday, Feb. 23, to March 4.

Med school alum hosts online ‘AFib Fridays’

Percy Morales, MD, a School of Medicine alum who practices in Houston, is hosting an online Facebook forum, “AFib Fridays,” during February, American Heart Month. The goal is to allow people to ask questions, and get answers, about atrial fibrillation.

Notables

The St. Louis premiere of “The Surrounding Game” will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at the Landmark Tivoli Theatre on the Delmar Loop. The award-winning documentary film was directed and produced by Cole Pruitt, a PhD candidate in chemistry in Arts & Sciences.
