Pow Wow celebrates American Indian language

Language is a vital and essential part of Native American cultural identity, and this year’s Pow Wow is a recognition of its importance. The 26th annual event, a celebration of American Indian cultures, will be held Saturday, April 9, in the Field House.

Rare form of diabetes may require alternate treatment

Patients with a rare, genetic form of diabetes often are misdiagnosed as having type 2 diabetes because the two share symptoms. But new research at the School of Medicine suggests that treating such patients with therapies designed for type 2 diabetes is potentially harmful and that treatment guidelines need to change.

PAD presents Caryl Churchill’s ‘Love and Information’ April 1-10

With more than 50 scenes and 100 characters, “Love and Information” is arguably the most audacious work by acclaimed English playwright Caryl Churchill. From April 1-10, the Performing Arts Department presents her kaleidoscopic tour de force in the A.E. Hotchner Studio.

inside of Graham ChapelQ: How many seats are there in the balcony of Graham Chapel on the Danforth Campus?
A: There are 196 seats in Graham Chapel’s balcony. Since its dedication in 1909, the chapel has undergone a number of renovations, including adding the balcony in the 1940s and replacing the balcony seats in 1998.
Congrats to this week's winner, alumnus Kevin Lin, in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, who will receive an ‘I Knew WashU!’ luggage tag!
